*What is “Open Access?”
Open Access claims filing means that you are able to submit your exam to your insurance, even though we are out of network with your insurance plan. The process is simple: you pay for the exam out of pocket, then file the claim for out-of-network reimbursement. Patients usually receive a reimbursement check within 1-2 months. Many insurers have lower reimbursement rates for out-of-network services, so most patients using this option will have additional expenses. However, using this option allows you to see Dr. Ryan for your exam while still taking advantage of your insurance benefits.
